Prices in full — six numbers, zero riddles.

Most local movers make you fill in a form to learn a number. Ours are printed: two van sizes, one to three people, by the hour. A quote only adds the honest hours your particular stairs and streets will take.

Minimum booking 2 hours · extra time in half-hour steps · the clock runs from arrival to finished No ULEZ or Clean Air Zone applies to vans in Brighton & Hove — on London runs, TfL charges are itemised at cost What moves the hours: the load, helpers, stairs and gradients, both postcodes, parking zones, date and time.

Three things decide the hours.

Brighton adds its own twist to each:

1

The load

A washing machine is an hour's errand; a three-bed is a day's work. The rough list you send is what turns a rate into a total.

2

Stairs & slopes

This city moves vertically — conversion staircases inside, Hanover gradients outside. Both cost honest time, never a mystery surcharge.

3

The kerb

Twenty-six parking zones decide where a van may stand. A planned loading spot keeps the clock lean; we do that planning at quote time.

Price FAQ

The fine print, printed large.

How are the hours estimated?

From your answers: the load, the floors and lifts, the hill outside, both postcodes and the parking at each end. The written quote states expected hours — and since the clock stops when the job does, an over-estimate never costs you money.

Do evenings or weekends cost more?

No — the table holds across our whole 8am–10pm, seven-day window. Busy dates sell out sooner; they don't price higher.

Any zone charges in Brighton?

None — Brighton & Hove has no ULEZ or Clean Air Zone for vans, whatever some national sites claim. London runs are the exception: TfL charges there are itemised at cost in the quote.

What's included at these rates?

The van, the fuel, the crew you chose, blankets, straps and a trolley — and the loading, driving and unloading between your two doors. Packing materials, where needed, are quoted with the job.

Rates are half the story. Your total is the other half.
